The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) is a British banking and insurance holding company, headquartered in Edinburgh, Scotland. The bank boasts of over 30 million customers in the UK, Europe, the Americas, Middle East and Asia. Already a well-established and respected banking concern, RBS is working hard to expand its influence to newer parts of the world and bring new-age banking to individuals, businesses and institutions.
Credit cards belong in the group of the necessary, ‘must-have’ survival accessories these days. And Royal Bank of Scotland credit cards are much sought after here in India, primarily for their professional approach to banking and the pleasure to be associated with a very selective, international bank.
Effective from EOD November 15, 2013, the entire Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) credit cards portfolio has been transferred to the Ratnakar Bank Ltd (RBL). With this transfer, RBS surrenders the ownership of its credit cards portfolio and is given permanent exemption from all liabilities arising from future instances of quality and service related errors, issues and other legal hassles. The aforementioned responsibility will henceforth be borne by RBL and all present and prospective RBS credit card holders/hopefuls are requested to consult RBL for activation or termination of services, issue resolution and other concerns relating to RBS’s erstwhile credit card products.
