Union Bank of India had sponsored four RRBs in India out of which three were in U.P namely, Kashi Gramin Bank, Gomti Gramin Bank and Samyut Kshetriya Gramin Bank. Samyut Khetriya Gramin Bank established on 6th Jan 1976, with its Head Office at AZAMGARH. It covered four districts namely Azamgarh, Mau, Gazipur and Ambedkar Nagar with its 168 branches.
Gomti Gramin Bank was set up on 30th March 1981 with its Head Office at Jaunpur. It had 84 branches covering 6 tehsils and 21 pieces. Kashi Gramin Bank was built upon 28th July 1981 with its Head Office at Varanasi with a view to cook the need of provincial and discouraged individuals of Kashi, the most seasoned city of the world. The bank offers credits, for example, home loan, personal advance, instructive advance, farming advance and so forth.
Purpose – To provide loan for production, investment & consumption need to agriculturists.
Eligibility – Enterprising agriculturists who have already availed Gramin Green Card and their account are running satisfactorily
Loan Amount – 75% of the market value of the agricultural land maximum Rs.10.00 lack depending on the repayment capacity of the applicant

Period of Loan – As per repayment capacity maximum 5 years
