Bankers Adda gk capsules have a quite decent coverage for static gk as well as current affairs. Having said that, you should not rely on only a single source for your gk preparation. what should be advised as far as ibps po is concerned, do a regular skimming of content from sites such as jagranjosh. They update their content on a daily basis, which is helpful if you want to get an edge in the examination.
Current affairs are best prepared if you do it regularly, preferably on a daily basis. That would ensure you start recalling things as you ahead towards the exam date, remember what doesn’t matter is how much you study about a particular topic but how much you are able to recall on the day of the examination.
Don’t just rely solely on bankers adda capsule. It is one of the best capsules but depending only on a single capsule doesn’t work too good. Here is how I’ve prepared.
Basically, this section can be divided into 3
- Current affairs
- Static g.k
- Banking
1.Current affairs
- Read The Hindu newspaper every day and I used to take notes of it. Give importance to news like new schemes, deaths, sports achievements, current updates of all those sections that used to be asked in the exams.
- I used to write down all current affairs from bankers adda and affairscloud and I’ll study that every day and then the next day I’ll take quizzes from bankers adda app, just like a small recap of previous day’s c.a.
- While preparing for c.a don’t just read the main point, you’ll just end up with forgetting the answer. Read the description, so that it will be easy to remember.
- Every weekend I’ll revise the c.a of that particular week from my written notes and I’ll revise the whole at the end of the month.
- I used to study the monthly capsule of bankers adda so that I can recollect all those I’ve studied.
- The use of taking notes every day is, it will be much easier to revise at the time of the exam, rather than sticking to some new capsules.
- Before the exam read at least past 3 month’s c.a.
With this, you can attend almost all questions of c.a.
2.Static g.k
This section is a little bit difficult to attend all questions because it has no limits and each time there will be some 1 or 2 questions from unexpected topics. But nothing is there to get disappointed, answering rest of the questions with good accuracy is more than enough. For this
- I’ve collected all recent and common topics that used to be asked in bank exams and collected notes from various sites and combined it and then I used to make clues from the keywords to remember those things easily.
- Some common topics are capital, currency, national parks, airports, stadiums etc..
3.Banking
For this, studied Bankers Adda’s banking capsule and few other pdf from various sites
