Chhattisgarh Road Tax
Chhattisgarh Road taxes are levied on the basis of several criteria including class of vehicle, weight, number of passengers, price, number of vehicles etc. The taxes are levied on a life time basis which allows you to ply your vehicle on the state’s roads throughout the life of the vehicle once the tax has been paid. Taxes may be levied on a reduced basis for environment friendly vehicles and for important sectors such as agricultural vehicles.
Road Tax on 2 Wheelers:
Road tax on 2 wheelers – both new and old – in Chhattisgarh are calculated as per the tables below:

Road tax is levied on new and old vehicles plying on the state’s roads as per the tables below.
For new vehicles:

How to pay Road Tax in Chhattisgarh?
Road tax in Chhattisgarh can be paid via any of the district RTO offices operating throughout the state. You can approach an office, fill up the requisite forms and submit documents as specified to get a challan which should be kept for future reference.
