Procedure For Online Service Tax Refund:
Refund of service tax can be done online as per the following procedure:
- Visit the official Automation of Central Excise and Service Tax (ACES) website
- Click the ‘Service Tax’ tab in the menu located at the top of the screen
- On the following screen, the applicant will be required to log in to his or her service tax account with his or her user name and password
- Once logged in, head to the ‘REF’ tab
- Click on the ‘Refund Request’ tab followed by the ‘Create’ tab
- A window will open up showing service tax refund form
- All relevant details are required to be entered in the form by the applicant
- After entering these details the request is to be submitted by clicking the ‘Submit’ button
- Following the submission of the form, the assessee will receive a refund request number, which will be automatically generated.

- Total amount claimed from deposit in current account in rupees

- Amount claimed in rupees
