The process is simple and free of cost, and you can complete the linking process in 7 easy steps. Follow the below-mentioned steps to complete the Idea and Aadhaar linking:<\/p>\n

Step-1:<\/strong>\u00a0Visit your nearest Idea center<\/p>\n

Step 2:<\/strong>\u00a0Provide your active Idea mobile number and Aadhaar number to the Idea store executive<\/p>\n

Step 3:<\/strong>\u00a0Once the re-verification starts, you will receive a four-digit one-time password on the Idea phone that is to be linked<\/p>\n

Step 4<\/strong>: Then you need to scan your fingerprint on the biometric device<\/p>\n

Step 5:<\/strong>\u00a0Once the biometric verification completes, your Aadhaar details will get displayed on the screen of the device. If needed you can request the executive to edit any information or else confirm it<\/p>\n

Step 6:<\/strong>\u00a0Once the process completes, you will receive a confirmation SMS within 24hrs<\/p>\n

Step 7:<\/strong>\u00a0To confirm Idea and Aadhaar linking, reply the SMS with \u201cRV Y\u201d to complete the e-KYC process. However, if you miss responding within 3 hours, your request will be auto-processed<\/p>\n

Idea Mobile Number Linking with Aadhar via Online<\/h3>\n

Linking Aadhaar with Idea mobile number is simple and can be done online.\u00a0The online process requires a biometric device or fingerprint scanner, an agent account or retailer\u2019s verified account. For linking Idea SIM and\u00a0Aadhaar number\u00a0online,<\/p>\n

The first requirement is having a retailer or agent account. You should go to an Idea store or help center and ask for an agent\u2019s account. The executives at the store will require few documents for verification. You should submit all the documents and to get your account. Once you have a retailer account you can either link your Idea number with Aadhaar online or be a retailer to help your customers with the linking process.<\/p>\n

Next prerequisite is the biometric device or the fingerprint scan machine. This device you can purchase online or else request dealers or help centers to offer you one for free. As it is useful for customers, few help centers offer the free biometric device to the retailers.<\/p>\n

The last is an android phone with android version kitkat (v4.0)and above. You should use this phone as the app will be supported in the Android phone and biometric device will function in an Android smartphone with kitkat or above version. Step 3:<\/strong>\u00a0Open the Idea eCaf app and go to the main menu. Click on \u201cManage Agents\u201d<\/p>\n

Step 4:<\/strong>\u00a0Entering mobile number and ITP verification, login to your agent or retailer account<\/p>\n

Step 5:<\/strong>\u00a0Go back to the main menu and hit \u201cCustomer Verification\u201d button. Choose any agent from the list of agents added<\/p>\n

Step 6:<\/strong>\u00a0In the next step, enter the Idea mobile number that you want to re-verify. Click on \u201cGenerate OTP\u201d<\/p>\n

Step 7:<\/strong>\u00a0You will receive a four-digit OTP, enter the OTP in the app and click on \u201cValidate OTP\u201d<\/p>\n

Step 8:<\/strong>\u00a0Click on \u201cProceed\u201d. Immediately after that, the app will ask for agent e-KYC<\/a> verification<\/p>\n

Step 9:\u00a0<\/strong>Click on \u201cI Agree\u201d and put agent\u2019s or retailer\u2019s fingerprint on the biometric device<\/p>\n

Step 10:<\/strong>\u00a0On completing the agent\u2019s verification, click on \u201cProceed\u201d. Enter your Aadhaar number that has to be liked and click on \u201cNext\u201d<\/p>\n

Step 11:<\/strong>\u00a0Scan your fingerprints on the biometric scan device. Once the biometric details match, your Aadhaar data will be visible in the app<\/p>\n

Step 12:<\/strong>\u00a0Cross-check the details and if required make necessary edits<\/p>\n

Step 13:<\/strong>\u00a0Accept the Terms and conditions and finally click on \u201csubmit\u201d<\/p>\n

Step 14:<\/strong>\u00a0You should do the fingerprint scanning for the final time and this completes the Aadhaar and Idea phone linking<\/p>\n

Step 15:<\/strong>\u00a0Within 24 hours, you will receive a confirmation message. Reply back to the same SMS with \u201cRV Y\u201d to complete the verification process<\/p>\n
