The URN (Update Request Number) is something you get when you apply for updates or changes to your Aadhaar Card.<\/p>\n

To make the updates online, you need to visit the site below:<\/p>\n

https:\/\/resident.uidai.gov.in\/check-aadhaar-status<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Enter your Aadhaar number and the text verification code. The OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number (number provided at the time of application).<\/p>\n

Once you enter the OTP, you will be lead to the next page – Data Update Request.<\/p>\n

Choose the details you wish to change – online, you can change name, DOB, gender, Address, mobile number and email ID. Once you select what you have to change, you will asked to mention the new details.<\/p>\n

You will have to upload scanned copies of supporting documents.<\/p>\n

Once you finish the process, you will receive the URN. This is used to check the status of your updated Aadhar details. You can check the status here:<\/p>\n
