Listed below are the documents that can be submitted for the same:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Indemnity Bond in favour of the Income Tax Department.<\/li>\n<li>Copies of PAN using which the assessee has been filing income tax returns regularly.<\/li>\n<li>Copies of income tax returns filed by the assessee in the last 3 years using the blocked PAN card.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Usually, it takes 10-15 business days (from the date of submission of the application) for the Income Tax Department to process the request and reactivate a blocked PAN.<\/p>\n<h2>Format of the Indemnity Bond for Pan Reactivation<\/h2>\n<p>The following is the format of the Indemnity Bond:<\/p>\n<p>Indemnity Bond \u2013 PAN<\/p>\n<p>I, _____________________, R\/o____________________, do hereby solemnly affirm and declare as under:<\/p>\n<p>My PAN is:<\/p>\n<p>I am regularly assessed in your ward\/jurisdiction with PAN: ___________________.<\/p>\n<p>I have only one PAN i.e ________________ which is used for last many years for filing my income tax returns.<\/p>\n<p>I do not have any other PAN with me, if any allotted in your records, kindly deactivate the same.<\/p>\n<p>I undertake to indemnify the income Tax Department for any loss that may be caused in the future.<\/p>\n<p>Kindly activate my PAN: ___________________.<\/p>\n<p>That the above statements are true to the best of my knowledge and belief.<\/p>\n<p>(Deponent)<\/p>\n<p>VERIFICATION<\/p>\n<p>Verified at New Delhi on this ________________ day of February, 2017, that the contents of the above affidavit are true and correct to the best of my knowledge and belief.
