All they have to do is follow the steps listed below:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Once they login into the HDFC net banking portal, they will need to click on the &#8220;Update Contact Details&#8221; tab from the main menu.<\/li>\n<li>Next step is to click on &#8220;Update Address.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Next, the cardholder will be directed to a page that will contain a list of documents that are accepted by the bank as proof of address.<\/li>\n<li>Cardholders would need to scan a self-attested copy of one of the documents listed by the bank.<\/li>\n<li>The last step is to check the copies of the documents, upload, and submit them.<\/li>\n<li>Once the documents are verified by the bank, the address will be updated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Online application for change of address of correspondence: Cardholders can also apply online to change their address of correspondence. They can do so by following the steps listed below:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The first step is to download the form to change the address of correspondence from leads.hdfcbank.com.<\/li>\n<li>Once the form is duly filled, the cardholder would need to get a print of the application form.<\/li>\n<li>The next step requires the cardholder to sign the form and attach self-attested copies of address proof with it.<\/li>\n<li>The final step is to send the application and the attached proof of address via courier or post to the nearest branch of HDFC bank.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Offline Process To Change Address Of Correspondence For HDFC Credit Card<\/h2>\n<p>HDFC credit card holders can change the address of correspondence offline in two different ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cardholders can walk into their nearest branch of HDFC bank and meet the bank\u2019s representative to change or update their address in person. They must carry original documents as proof of address with them when they visit the branch.<\/li>\n<li>Cardholders can also dial the toll-free number 1800 266 4332 and talk to the executive to initiate the process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How To Download The Declaration Form To Change The HDFC Address Of Correspondence?<\/h2>\n<p>Cardholders can download the declaration form to change or update the address of correspondence by logging on to leads.hdfcbank.com. Once they fill up the form, they must take a print out of the same to submit it at their nearest HDFC bank.<\/p>\n<h3>Document Required To Change Address in HDFC Credit Card<\/h3>\n<p>HDFC <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.antworksmoney.com\/blog\/hdfc-bank-credit-card-customer-care-number\/\">credit card<\/a><\/strong> holders can submit any one of the following as proof of address:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Copy of valid passport<\/li>\n<li>Copy of voter&#8217;s ID card<\/li>\n<li>Copy of driver&#8217;s license<\/li>\n<li>Copy of Aadhaar card<\/li>\n<li>Copy of job card issued NREGA and signed by the officer of State Government.<\/li>\n<li>Copy of letter issued by a gazetted officer with a photograph of the cardholder duly attested.<\/li>\n<li>Copy of utility bill like electricity, landline, postpaid mobile bill, gas line, and water bill. The bill should not be more than 2 months old.<\/li>\n<li>Receipt of property or municipal tax.<\/li>\n<li>Copy of post office savings bank account statement\/passport or bank account.<\/li>\n<li>Copy of pension or family pension payment orders (PPOs) issued to retired employees by the government departments or public sector undertakings, only if they contain the address.<\/li>\n<li>Letter of allotment of accommodation from the cardholder&#8217;s employer issued by the central government or state government department, regulatory or statutory bodies, public sector undertakings, scheduled commercial banks, financial institutions and listed companies. Also, license and leave agreements with such employers allotting official accommodation.<\/li>\n<li>Copies of documents issued by the government departments of foreign jurisdictions and letter issued by Foreign Embassy or Mission in India.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Necessity Of Changing Address Of Correspondence For HDFC Card<\/h2>\n<p>In a situation where the cardholder is changing their address of correspondence, it is important to change or update this information on their portal. This will ensure seamless communication between the bank and the cardholder.
