Customers can visit a neared UBI bank branch with the following documents:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>One photocopy of Aadhar Card along with the original document.<\/li>\n<li>One photocopy of UBI bank Passbook along with the original one.<\/li>\n<li>Duly filled out an application form.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The customers have to take these documents and approach their nearest United Bank of India branch. After they submit these documents, the bank officials will ask for their original documents which will be returned to the customers after verification.<\/p>\n<p>The bank will also provide them with the bottom half of the application form as an acknowledgment receipt which will act as a confirmation that the linking process has been initiated.<\/p>\n<p>Once the application process is complete on the bank&#8217;s end, they will intimate the customers by sending an SMS to their registered mobile account mentioning whether their bank account has been successfully seeded or not. If not, the bank will also provide them with details on what went wrong, and how to successfully complete the process.<\/p>\n<h2>Link Aadhaar Card to United Bank of India Account Online<\/h2>\n<p>The account holders in United Bank of India can also avail the online facility to link their bank their accounts with Aadhaar card. The UBI has provisions even for those customers who do not have an active internet banking account. The customers can avail the net banking service free of cost. They have to follow these steps to link their Aadhar card to United Bank of India account online:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Visit the official portal of United Bank of India.<\/li>\n<li>Enter your full name and the UBI account number.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the 12-digit Aadhaar UID.<\/li>\n<li>If the customer wants to avail Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) facility, tick \u201cYes\u201d in the box provided. If they don\u2019t want the DBT facility, select \u201cNo\u201d from the options provided.<\/li>\n<li>Read the terms and conditions carefully and tick \u201cI Agree\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>Submit the request to link Aadhaar with UBI account.<\/li>\n<li>The UBI account holders will be provided with a service request number for future reference.<\/li>\n<li>The United Bank of India account will be linked to the Aadhaar card within 5 working days.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>How to Check Aadhaar Card to United Bank of India Account Linking Status Online<\/h2>\n<p>The United Bank of India also provides its customers with the facility to check the Aadhaar linking status online.
