These transactions are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Purchase or sale of immovable property that is worth over Rs.5,00,000.<\/li>\n<li>Purchase or sale of vehicles, other than a two-wheeler.<\/li>\n<li>A fixed deposit that exceeds Rs.50,000 with any bank.<\/li>\n<li>A fixed deposit account that exceeds Rs.50,000 with the Post Office.<\/li>\n<li>Contract related to purchase or sale of specified securities that exceed Rs.10,00,000.<\/li>\n<li>This form is required for opening an account with a bank.<\/li>\n<li>Applications for installing a telephone connection(includes cellular connection) requires this form.<\/li>\n<li>Payments that exceed Rs.25,000 to restaurants and hotels.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In case of minors whose income is not taxed, their father\u2019s\/mother\u2019s\/guardian\u2019s PAN number should be given.<\/p>\n<h2>How to Fill Form 61<\/h2>\n<p id=\"Required_Documents_for_Form_61\">Form 61 can be procured both online as well as offline. Applicants will have to provide certain information that is required. This includes &#8211;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The name and address of the applicant<\/li>\n<li>Particulars or details of the transaction<\/li>\n<li>Proof of address<\/li>\n<li>Date, place along with the declarant\u2019s signature<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Applicants will also have to sign the verification mentioned in the form, stating that all information provided is true, to the best of their knowledge. Information regarding date and place should also be provided.<\/p>\n<p>Form 61 will have to be given during the time of transaction to the person handling the transactions, such as a manager at the bank.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"Difference_between_Form_60_and_Form_61\">Documents Required along with Form 61<\/h2>\n<p id=\"How_to_Submit_Form_61\">While providing Form 61, a supporting document to verify their address will have to be provided by the applicant. Documents counted as valid proof of address are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.antworksmoney.com\/blog\/aadhar-card-importance\/\">Aadhaar card<\/a><\/li>\n<li>EPIC or Electoral Photo Identity Card<\/li>\n<li>Ration Card<\/li>\n<li>Driving License<\/li>\n<li>Passport<\/li>\n<li>Identity card issued by an institution, containing the applicant\u2019s address<\/li>\n<li>Recent utility bills (not older than 3 months)<\/li>\n<li>Communication or document issued by the State Government or Central Government containing the applicant\u2019s residential address.<\/li>\n<li>Other documents that verify the applicant\u2019s address provided in the declaration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The document provided by the applicant as proof of address will have to be self-attested.<\/p>\n<h2>Difference between Form 60 and Form 61<\/h2>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.antworksmoney.com\/blog\/how-to-activate-a-deactivated-pan-card\/\">PAN card<\/a> is a necessary document that every citizen must have. This document keeps a track of the holder\u2019s financial transactions. In case an applicant does not possess PAN number, they will have to submit either Form 60 or Form 61 instead.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Form 60<\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"Other_Pan_Card_Forms\">This declaration form will have to be submitted by an individual who does not hold a PAN number but wishes to enter into transactions mentioned in Rule 114B.
