{"id":3023,"date":"2018-04-16T18:29:11","date_gmt":"2018-04-16T12:59:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.antworksmoney.com\/blog\/?page_id=3023"},"modified":"2019-09-25T12:46:52","modified_gmt":"2019-09-25T07:16:52","slug":"documents-required-pan-card-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.antworksmoney.com\/blog\/documents-required-pan-card-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Documents Required for PAN Card"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>Proof of Identity required to apply for PAN Card by an Individual who is Indian Citizen<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Following are the required documents out of which anyone can be submitted as identity proof.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Copy of voter&#8217;s identity card<\/li>\n<li>Ration card with the applicant&#8217;s photograph<\/li>\n<li>Copy of passport<\/li>\n<li>Copy of driving license<\/li>\n<li>Arm&#8217;s license<\/li>\n<li>Copy of Aadhar card issued by Unique Identification Authority of India<\/li>\n<li>Photo identity card issued by a central government or state government or any other public sector undertaking<\/li>\n<li>Central government health scheme card<\/li>\n<li>Bank certificate containing an attested photograph of the applicant along with bank account number of the applicant<\/li>\n<li>Copy of pensioner card having a photograph of the applicant<\/li>\n<li>Certificate of identity in original signed by a Member of Parliament or Member of Legislative Assembly or Municipal Councillor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Address Proof Required to Apply for PAN Card by an Individual who is a Citizen of India<\/h2>\n<p>Copy of the following documents that can be submitted as address proof<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Copy of electricity bills<\/li>\n<li>Copy of landline bills<\/li>\n<li>Copy of broadband connection bill<\/li>\n<li>Bank account statements<\/li>\n<li>Credit card statement<\/li>\n<li>Post office passbook featuring address of the applicant<\/li>\n<li>Passport<\/li>\n<li>Passport of spouse<\/li>\n<li>Voter identity card with photograph<\/li>\n<li>Latest order for\u00a0property tax\u00a0assessment<\/li>\n<li>Driving license<\/li>\n<li>Domicile certificate issued by the government<\/li>\n<li>Aadhar card\u00a0issued by Unique Identification Authority of India<\/li>\n<li>Allotment letter<\/li>\n<li>If submitting copy of one of the first five documents, the documents should not be more than three months old.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Proof of Date of Birth Required for PAN Card Application by an Individual who is a Citizen of India<\/h2>\n<p>Proof of age is also required to be submitted by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.antworksmoney.com\/blog\/pan-card-details\/\">PAN applicant<\/a>. Any document that specifies the date of birth of the applicant serves the purpose. This document has to be any one of those listed below.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Birth certificate issued by the Municipal Authority or any office authorized to issue Birth and Death Certificate by the Registrar of Birth and Deaths or the Indian Consulate<\/li>\n<li>Pension payment order<\/li>\n<li>Marriage certificate issued by Registrar of Marriages<\/li>\n<li>Matriculation certificate<\/li>\n<li>Passport<\/li>\n<li>Driving license; or<\/li>\n<li>Domicile certificate issued by the central or state government<\/li>\n<li>The affidavit signed before a magistrate stating the date of birth<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Proof of Identity Required for PAN Application by an individual who is not an Indian citizen<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Following are the documents out of which anyone can be submitted as identity proof by an individual who is not an Indian citizen<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Copy of passport or<\/li>\n<li>Copy of Person of Indian Origin card issued by the Indian Government or<\/li>\n<li>Copy of overseas citizenship of India card issued by the Indian Government<\/li>\n<li>Copy of other national or citizenship Identification Number or Taxpayer Identification Number duly attested by Apostille or by Indian Embassy or High Commission or Consulate in the country where the PAN applicant is located<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Address Proof for PAN Card Application by a Foreign Citizen<\/h2>\n<p>Copy of any of the following documents is required to be submitted as address proof.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Copy of passport or<\/li>\n<li>Copy of Person of Indian Origin card issued by the Indian Government or<\/li>\n<li>Copy of overseas citizenship of India card issued by the Indian Government<\/li>\n<li>Copy of other national or citizenship Identification Number or Taxpayer Identification Number duly attested by Apostille or by Indian Embassy or High Commission or Consulate in the country where the PAN applicant is located<\/li>\n<li>Copy of bank account statements in the country of residence<\/li>\n<li>Copy of non-resident external bank account statements in India<\/li>\n<li>Copy of registration certificate which is issued by Foreigner&#8217;s Registration Office and shows Indian address<\/li>\n<li>Copy of\u00a0Visa\u00a0granted by the foreign country and\/or copy of appointment letter issued by an Indian company and original certificate of Indian Address issued by the employer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Proof of Identity required to apply for PAN Card by an Individual who is Indian Citizen Following are the required documents out of which anyone can be submitted as identity proof.
