Hence, investors from the different countries are taking keen\ninterest and making heavy investment in India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The great initiatives by the Modi\ngovernment namely Make in India, Startup India and more are a great boost\nresulting in generating &nbsp;employment,\nbringing in more FDI, and strengthening the economy of India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the recent report shared by the government, India received FDI worth $64.37 billion during the financial year ending Mar 2019. During 2014-15, it was USD 45.14 billion and in\n2015-16, the Foreign Direct Investments in\nIndia increased to USD 55.55 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The strong and growth-oriented governance led by the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PMOIndia\">Prime Minister Narendra Modi<\/a><\/strong> has attracted foreign investors. Today, heavy investment in the varied sectors has been made by the investor from the different nations. There are numerous advantages of FDI and not only the sources making investment reaps the benefit out of it but also the citizens in the nation enjoys the maximum advantage generated by the huge FDIs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At present, India is recognized as the largest\nmarket in the world. The Department for\nPromotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) said that a proven plan of\naction has been prepared for the worldwide promotion of Indian \u2018Geographical\nIndications\u2019 (GIs). It can certainly help to generate supplementary income for\nour farmers engaged in the agricultural sector, craftsmen, weavers, and artisans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This remarkable initiative of bringing in\nFDI through Make in India program is considered as the masterstroke of the\nruling government.
