The availability of better job opportunities creates scope for new and fresher minds to join work and form 5 is designed to know them.<\/p>\n<h2>Components of Form 5<\/h2>\n<p>The basic elements of Form 5 are mentioned below.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Name of organization\/company<\/li>\n<li>Address of organization<\/li>\n<li>Code Number of organization<\/li>\n<li>Account number of employee<\/li>\n<li>Name of employee<\/li>\n<li>Father\u2019s\/Husband\u2019s name<\/li>\n<li>Date of birth of the employee<\/li>\n<li>Date of joining<\/li>\n<li>Term\/period of previous service\/work (as on joining date)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The form should be signed and stamped by the employer along with the date of filing said form.<\/p>\n<h2>Importance of Form 5<\/h2>\n<p><i>EPF Form 5<\/i>\u00a0is extremely important for new joiners who haven\u2019t had previous experience with the employees\u2019 provident fund. It is through this form that such new members can avail of the benefits offered under the provisions of\u00a0EPF, without which their social welfare and security would be incomplete. It also helps employers keep track of new employees and ensure that everyone is covered under\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.antworksmoney.com\/blog\/link-aadhar-card-epf-accoun\"><strong>EPF rules<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Due Date<\/h2>\n<p><u>EPF Form 5<\/u>\u00a0needs to be updated every month, with all new joiners expected to fill up the relevant data. This form should be submitted to the Commissioner\u2019s office before the 25<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0of the next month. For example, Mr. Rao, the boss of Integral Communications hires a new employee in the month of October.
