How can I earn reward points under Shop-and-Smile Rewards Program?

SBI customers can earn rewards on almost all credit cards issued by the bank, with certain exceptions. Shop-and-Smile Rewards points come with a validity of two years.

SBI Signature and Platinum customers can earn 2 rewards points for every Rs. 100 spent on purchase transactions and earn 10 rewards points for every Rs. 100 spent on departmental store purchases, international transactions and dining.

SimplySAVE and Gold & More card holders can earn 1 reward point for every Rs. 100 spent on purchase transactions and earn 10 rewards points for every Rs. 100 spent on departmental store purchases, grocery shopping, movies and dining.

How do you redeem Shop-and-Smile Rewards points with State Bank of India?

Shop-and-Smile Rewards points can be redeemed by customers using the following modes.

• Customers can log onto sbicard.com, access their accounts using their existing SBI Card online username / password and redeem accrued rewards points for gifts from the online Shop-and-Smile Rewards catalogue.
• SBI card holders can also contact the SBI Card helpline at 39 02 02 02 with the local STD code or call 1860 180 1290/1800 180 1290 from BSNL and MTNL numbers to redeem accumulated rewards points.
• The third option available to SBI customers is to write in to the following SBI branch address to make a redemption – PO Bo. NO. 28, GPO, New Delhi – 110001.

Rewards redemptions can be done only in multiples of 2000 points per request. SBI will deliver the gift at the customer’s doorstep. The redeemed gift will be delivered only to the primary card holder’s address. Merchandise will be delivered within 15 working days and gift vouchers will be sent in 10 working days. Once the redemption request has been place it cannot be cancelled or changed. Gift vouchers will valid for a period of three months. State Bank of India charges a redemption fee of Rs. 99 plus service tax to the SBI card account when a redemption request is placed by the customer.
