BSNL offers Aadhaar number and mobile linking through an interactive voice response (IVR) system. The IVR method of Aadhar-mobile number linkage is a simple process that can be completed by following the steps given below:

Step 1: Call the toll free number of BSNL.

Step 2: As soon as you dial the number, the IVR system will play the consent message.

Step 3: Provide the mobile number that you want to link to the Aadhar when the system asks.

Step 4: Next an OTP request will be sent to the UIDAI for verifying the mobile number that is linked to Aadhaar.

Step 5: On your mobile, you will receive an OTP.

Step 6: The IVR system will again play the consent message and request you to share the OTP received.

Step 7: You have to share the OTP and if it matches, the subscriber’s e-KYC details will be received from UIDAI.

Step 8: Once this is done a confirmation message will appear on the IVR system.

Step 9: You will also receive an SMS confirmation message on your mobile number about the Aadhaar and BSNL number linking.

Aadhar and BSNL Linking by Visiting BSNL Retailer Shop

Linking Aadhaar with BSNL by visiting a BSNL retail shop or customer service centre is easy. Follow the below-mentioned steps to complete the linking.

Step 1: Visit the nearby BSNL retail shop or customer service centre that has an e-KYC facility.

Step 2: Carry your Aadhar number and an active mobile with BSNL SIM.

Step 3: Give your mobile number to the authorized BSNL official.

Step 4: The executive in the store will enter all your details in the BSNL Swift App or e-KYC application.

Step 5: Once all the details are fetched, the executive will send an OTP to the given mobile number.

Step 6: The executive will then ask for the OTP and your 12 digit Aadhaar number.

Step 7: You have to then scan your fingerprints on the biometric scanner.

Step 8: On completing this, your Aadhar card details will be displayed on the BSNL Swift App.

Step 9: Next you have to confirm all the details.

Step 10: After confirming, the executive at the counter will again ask you to scan your fingerprints on the biometric machine.

Step 11: Once the linking is over, you will receive a confirmation message within 24 hours.

Step 12: If the details match you should respond to that SMS by typing “REV YES” and send it to 53734 or else type “REV NO” to change any details entered.

Aadhar and BSNL Number Linking Through Online Mode

BSNL subscribers can easily complete Aadhaar and phone linking by using the online method. The process doesn’t need biometric scanning too. Given below are the step-by-step process on how to link Aadhaar with BSNL.

Step 1: Visit the BSNL’s official website.

Step 2: Once you are on the home page, enter the mobile number that you wish to link.

Step 3: You will then receive a one-time password (OTP) from the BSNL.

Step 4: Enter the OTP in the respective box.

Step 5: On doing this, a message is displayed on the screen.

Step 6: Enter the 12-digit Aadhar number and check on the consent box.

Step 7: Next the telecom service provider will request UIDAI to send an OTP to the Aadhar registered mobile number.

Step 8: Then you will receive a consent message from UIDAI about your e-KYC details.

Step 9: Enter the OTP.

Step 10: Accept the terms and conditions. Then you will receive a confirmation message on your mobile number about the successful verification process.

Step 1: Type “REV ” on your mobile keypad.
