ICICI Customer Care – Grievance Redressal

ICICI bank has a holistic grievance redressal process that allows customers to bring all their unresolved/unanswered/unsatisfied complaints/queries to the notice of senior management to ensure swift redressal of issues.

If you didn’t receive a proper response from the ICICI customer care centre, you can follow the below process to escalate the issue to the next level. Do note that the below process requires the ‘service request number’, which was then sent to you after raising a complaint/issue through the customer care.

Level-1: Send an e-mail: The first step in the grievance redressal process is to send an e-mail through the online submission form available on ICICI website. Visit the ‘Complaints’ page on the website and click e-mail. You will be redirected to a new page displaying a form to submit your grievance.

Enter the details such as your name, e-mail ID, phone number, service request number, type of account, account number or application number, and details of your grievance. Once you enter all the details click ‘Submit’ to send the e-mail. You are likely to receive an acknowledgment from the respective department once you’ve submitted the form.

Level-2: Contact ICICIs phone banking head: If you haven’t received any response to your mail or if you are not satisfied with the response, you can contact ICICI’s Head of Phone Banking. You can approach the officer in two ways – download a grievance redressal form from the website, fill it and submit it at the below address.

Head of Phone Banking,

ICICI Bank Ltd.,

Phone Banking Center,

ICICI Bank Tower,

Financial District,

Gachibowli,

Hyderabad 500032.

The form is available for download on ‘Complaints’ page of the bank’s website. Once the bank receives the form, you are likely to receive a response within 4 business days.

The second method is to send an e-mail to the officer through an online submission form. On the same ‘Complaints’ page, you will find an EMAIL button under step-2. Clicking on it will redirect you to a new page, where you can enter your details and submit the form to the phone banking head.

You have to enter your details including name, e-mail ID, phone number, service request number, type of account, account number or application number, and details of your grievance. Once you enter all the details click ‘Submit’. You may receive an acknowledgment from the respective department once the request is submitted.

Level-3: Write to ICICI’s Principal Nodal Officer: You can further escalate your concern to ICICI bank’s principal nodal officer, in case you haven’t received a proper resolution from the phone banking officer. You can contact the principal nodal officer by sending a filled in grievance form or submitting an e-mail online.

The form is available for download on ‘Complaints’ page of the bank’s website under step-3. You can fill the same with all the required details and submit it at the below address.

Principal Nodal Officer,

ICICI Bank Ltd.,

ICICI Bank Towers,

Bandra Kurla Complex,

Bandra (East),

Mumbai 400051.

You will receive a response in 4 working days once the request is received.

Alternatively, you can submit an online form to the principal nodal officer, using the EMAIL option available on the ‘Complaints’ page under step-3.

Click the EMAIL button to find an online grievance form, fill the same with all the required details and click ‘Submit’.

Level-4: Contact ICICI’s Customer Service Head: Contacting ICICI bank’s senior general manager and head of a customer service is the final level of escalation in the bank’s grievance redressal process.

ICICI’s head of customer service can be approached by sending a filled-in grievance form or by submitting an online e-mail. Both the options are available in ICICI’s ‘Complaints’ page under step-4.

After downloading the form, fill in the required details along with your grievance and send/submit it at the below address.

Senior General Manager and Head Customer Service,

ICICI Bank Ltd.,

ICICI Bank Towers,

Bandra Kurla Complex,

Bandra (East), Mumbai 400051.

The bank will respond within 4 business days, once the request is received.

Alternatively, you can also submit an online form which will be displayed by clicking on the EMAIL button available under step-4 on the ‘Complaints’ page. The form will be sent to the bank’s senior general manager and head of customer service for resolution of the query.

Your issue is likely to get resolved at any one of the levels mentioned above. In case, you are not satisfied with the resolution even after taking it to multiple officers, you still have a chance to voice your concern.

You can approach the Banking Ombudsman appointed for your area and report the same to him. The list of city/state specific Banking Ombudsman details are available on ICICI bank’s ‘Complaints’ page. You can approach the respective officer through phone, fax or by dropping a written request.
