Driving license is issued by the Road Transport Department of each state and union territory. To link the driving license with Aadhaar, two-wheelers and car-owners have to visit the website of the state transport department where the license was issued.

Step 1. Visit the road transport website of the state where the driving license was issued.
Step 2. Click the “Link Aadhar” button on the computer screen.
Step 3. Search for “Aadhar Number Entry” option.
Step 4. A drop-down menu will appear. Click on the “Driving Licence” option.
Step 5. Enter the Licence number.
Step 6. Click on the “Get Details” button.

Step 8. There will be two blank spaces to enter “Aadhaar No.” and “Mobile No.” in that box.
Step 9. Enter the 12-digit Aadhaar number.

Step 11. Re-check and submit the details provided.
Step 11. An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number for verification.
